I love everything about CAM market! They have everything you can think of, and a wide variety too. They have an amazing beauty care section, utensil section, produce, chips, seasonings, candy - it's here! The service is always friendly and the store is very clean. I highly recommend shopping here or checking it out if you're in the area. It's a must see!
I really liked shopping at CAM even though I couldn't find any carts or baskets. Someone really nice outside let me have hers :) I came on a Sunday, so maybe there wasn't as much stock as normal. I came here looking for fresh tteok specifically, didn't see it but I found some in the refrigerated section that seemed fresher than other markets. I was hoping to find maybe more local fresh products but they had a good range and selection. The radish kimchi is the best I've found around this area (Gangnam brand). The produce section was really nice, I even saw mangosteens, but no basic zucchini or gold potatoes lol. The fruit section is also kind of lacking. That's ok, I was happy to see a lot of vegetables that are hard to find otherwise. I really liked the made in store items, kimbap was better than HMart's (lol) and really fresh and their pickled vegetables were really tasty. I'll be back just for those! After one visit I prefer CAM to Jungle Jim's for Korean stuff. I will come back often :)
I would say I love the fact that this store is closer to where I live. They have my fave noodles. However, the Asian young man cashier did not say hello or goodbye, no interactions at all. It felt weird but whatever. I think they need to train their cashiers how to be more friendly to customers and put smiles on their faces more while on shifts instead of being on their phones.
